There are color photos in every page depicting story quilts through the seasons. The quilts have so much detail and that's what makes this book so of the quilts depict children at play throughout the four seasons.

Almost all of these quilts are hand sewn using appliqué. This book is meant to inspire readers to try there own story 5/5(19). I got this book more for inspiration that actually learning to make story quilts. I have wanted to complete this type of quilt for a long time but just needed something to show me where to start and give me a mental "kick".
